but prior to today this is pretty much what i witnessed getting charged by stormtroopers

initially it appeared that the police were being a bit less hostile, but then watching them run with clubs swinging at peaceful protesters and clearing them out of queens park, the fucking designated protest zone, with force and intimidation, i take it back.
leaving unmanned, unlocked police cars in a protest zone is going to result in the above, i know that, you know that, the police know that, so that is that.

what i witnessed yesterday (Friday) was nothing short of police provocation. a civil and “democratic” society does not meet peaceful protests with over the top police presence and intimidation. the police proved yesterday that they are the biggest gang in town. i fear that today they will be met with more resistance as police insecurity pushes people to anger which will result in more police overreaction. if there is violence today it will be the result of the police and the draconian law passed to prevent freedom of speech and assembly.
